The list with the Wyckoff positions for each space group can be obtained containing the multiplicity and the letter of each position, its site symmetry and the representatives within the unit cell (as given in the International Tables for Crystallography, vol.A).
The space group can be specified by its number in the International Tables for Crystallography, vol.A, or can be selected from the table with the space groups symbols. To select the group from that table click on the link ''choose''.
If you want to see the Wyckoff positions in the conventional setting, just click on the button [Standard/Default Setting]. If the number of the space group has been specified than the list with its Wyckoff positions is shown. Otherwise, you are asked to select the group from the table with the space group symbols and numbers. At the end of the page there is a link which permits you to change the basis for the current Wyckoff positions by giving a transformation matrix.
If you are interested in a different setting for the Wyckoff positions, click on [User-Defined Setting] and introduce the transformation matrix that relates the standard/default setting with the new setting defined by the user.
If the Wyckoff positions are shown in an arbitrary setting, the list contains the standard/default setting data and the user-defined one. Note that the representatives of the general position are transformed as points. To obtain the transformation of these elements as symmetry operations, follow the link given above the table with the result. Below the table there is a link to the transformation matrix used in the change of the setting.
